As a joint venture with Metcalfe Associates, Neffinger Architects was responsible for the Americans with Disability Act retrofit of the UMASS Medical Center. The firm provided an audit and survey of the existing building and identified non-compliant areas in relation to the ADA. Included in the project were eleven elevators, the elevator power plant, locker and shower rooms, all bathrooms, and the attached garage.
Construction drawings, administration, and bidding services were provided as part of phase 2.
